even though i have absolutely horrible luck and just do horrible in general.

also, i wish it snowed in savannah, just occasionally.
ya know, once or twice a year.
i really like the snow.
but i dont think i would like having to deal with it all the time.
it would be too much.

along the ride from North Carolina to Ohio today, we watched the 4th and 5th Harry Potters and it has kinda put me back in my super loving Harry Potter mode

and now i really really cant wait for the 6th movie.

This is the first year i actually have a job at christmas and can buy people things.
Its pretty exciting.

epiphany

Twilight,I really loved the movie, but something about it bugged me, and i couldnt really pinpoint what it was. Well,i think i figured out what bothered me. It wasnt the awkwardness of it all torwards the beginning, it was even Roberts rather bad accent(i could deal with that), i think it was the lack of the Bella/Edward love in the movie. I guess because it was such a huge deal in the book, and the book dwelt on it so much, i was dissapointed in that aspect of the movie. Yes, they fell in love in the movie, but it was almost an annoying just overnight fell in love. In the book, it kinda progressed over a longer period of time, in the movie, it was like a month. It just didnt seem as real and true in the movie. i dont even know if that makes any sense or not to anyone else. ha i guess that even though i tried not to compare the movie to the book too much, i let it bother me lol
It was still amazing, no matter =]

i unlike Lauren make no promises of no more twilight related blogs.
i just dont know if i can keep that promise

now that im done with that though.
i need to make a list of things i need for Ohio.

seriously, i think me keeping an open mind about this movie really helped me enjoy it as much as a did
i knew going into it that it would never be able to compare to the book, and that many things(pointless things) would be changed.
So, i can definately say i was not dissapointed with it at all.
i just need to go and see it again now! haha

SA-WEET

the YL thanksgiving feast was tonight
it was at this womans house, and let me tell you, that house was beautiful.
we were all sitting around in awe looking at it
and the food, also amazing
i had some of the best banana pudding i have ever had. seriously.
such a good time.
Also, all of us leaders in trainging found out that we get to go to Windy Gap as workcrew in Jan which is pretty exciting
i have done workcrew there before, and it was bam amazing
so much fun



one of the best weekends ever.
im fairly confident it will be just the same this time

Scott informed the group that savannah YL will be going to frontier ranch this summer, and i will offiicially be a leader then, so im really hoping i get to go then too!
ajdsfhdsfim so excited about being a leader! i cant wait until we are DONE with training.

Plus, they gave us all a book.

Mary read it and said it was really good.
so, i dont know.
i will read it once i finish the lovely bones

CCF Fall Retreat

the fall retreat was soo much fun
there was a bonfire..sorta.
a dance party.
great worship.
scattegories.
flamingo football.
civil war era jokes.
and staying up till 4:45 in the morning.



i must admit i had an absolutely fantastic time.

also, i had mcalisters again =]

i didnt even get the opportunity to ask about thanksgiving at work today.
we were busy busy busy.
One little boy named John kept making me and dominque things, and then sealing them in envelopes and bringing them to us.
it was so adorable
im getting to know the kids more and more, and some of them are so freaking cute its just crazy.
and some of them are just ridiuclously funny.

besides the new girl working in our room, i really enjoy working at the daycare. But this girl, man she is quite annoying. always yapping on and on about things no one really cares about.
i feel bad, i try and like her, she just makes is pretty difficult hah

i have decided to take it upon myself to every once in a while, inform you fine people reading this about some pretty bam amazing actors not getting the recognition they deserve.
not that it will really matter much. and you probably dont care.

tonight at YL leadership, we all sat around and gave our testimony's about how we came to know christ, and how he is in our lives today and what not.
normally, talking to the group like that would have been no biggie
but your testimony is such a personal thing, not like i dont want them to hear it or anything, and mine was one of the tamest of the bunch.
Its just, i feel so vulnerbale sitting there telling this huge group of people im just starting to get to know all about me.

my face was soo red. i could feel it when i was talking.
and i stuttered and messed up a lot ha
oh well. its done and over with.

i might be going to Ohio with Lauren for Thanksgiving this year. Im pretty excited and hope i can.
just have to be sure i get the time off work.

Last night was a good night.
The group of people over at kendra kept changing throughout the night.
people kept coming and going
me, dominique, kendra and jon were there all night.
and Jimmy came and left, then connor, then Britt got there then Cody.
We made smores, played some tamagotchi party on kendras Wii, and then deicided to go play pool.
Well, i have never played pool before so needless to say, i was pretty horrible.
I feel for Jon for having me on his team

that Jay Baruchel is highly underappreciated.

i went to see High School Musical 3 today.
and it was pretty much amazing

So, The Halloween Party at the daycare ended up going really good.
and those kids are too adorable, although a couple of their costumes were pretty terrifying.

Also, i babysat tonight.
the two girl are such girly girls, aka the complete opposite of me.
in the end though, i painted their nails, hlpe then put make-up on, and had a full on photoshoot when they found out i had a camera.
